4.1 Substrate preparation — Completely remove oil, dust, loose scale and other contaminants from the substrate surface. Metal substrates shall be blast cleaned to Sa 2.5; hand or power tool cleaning shall achieve at least St 3. Galvanised steel, aluminium alloy and other light metal substrates require surface passivation and activation to improve adhesion. All substrates must receive the specified primer and the primer must be fully cured before applying this topcoat.
4.2 Application conditions — Ambient temperature 5–40 °C; substrate temperature at least 3 °C above dew point; relative humidity ≤ 80 %. Do not apply in rain, condensation or strong wind with airborne dust, as this will impair film formation and performance.
4.3 Mixing — This is a two-component curing system. Mix strictly at base : hardener = 10 : 1 by weight. Pour the entire hardener into the base container and mix thoroughly with a power mixer for 3–5 minutes until uniform. Do not estimate ratios or adjust proportions arbitrarily. Pot life after mixing is only 4 hours; any unused material must be discarded and must never be reused.
4.4 Thinning — Use only OICE-100 dedicated fluorosilicone thinner. Maximum addition ≤ 8 %. Over-thinning is prohibited as it directly damages film density and substantially reduces cooling, weathering and anti-corrosion performance.
4.5 Application method — Airless spray is recommended for uniform film and optimum performance. Brush or roller application is only for touch-up and small areas. Conventional air spray is not recommended. Airless spray parameters: nozzle 0.017–0.021 in, pressure 2200–2800 psi.

4. Processing and Installation
4.1 Support structure preparation — Support frames and substrates must be flat and smooth. Remove sharp burrs and edges to prevent puncturing the fabric. Inflatable and vehicle cover substrates must be clean and dry, free of oil and sharp particles.
4.2 Processing and service conditions — Ambient temperature 5–45 °C. Avoid tensioning or installation in strong wind, heavy rain or severe dust storms. In low temperatures, tension slowly to avoid cold embrittlement.
4.3 Membrane seaming — High-frequency welding is recommended. Clean the overlap area before welding; overlap width ≥ 50 mm; welds must be continuous and dense with no cold welds or gaps. Dedicated PVC membrane adhesive may also be used.
4.4 Tensioning and detail reinforcement — Control pre-tension during installation to avoid over-stretching. Add edge binding and reinforcement patches at corners, fixing points and welds. Use protective washers at fixing points to prevent stress concentration and tearing.
4.5 Curing — After processing and tensioning, allow 72 hours to release internal stress. Avoid scratching with sharp objects and impact from heavy objects during curing. In the initial outdoor period, avoid direct impact from strong typhoons.
4.6 Recommended system — Support structure pre-treatment → cut OICE-304 quantum cooling shade membrane fabric → weld or bond seams → fix with reinforcement washers at details → overall tensioning to final form.
5. Packaging and Storage
5.1 Packaging — Rolls are wrapped in moisture-proof PE film. Each roll carries an outer label stating model, weight, specification and batch. A protective film on the roll surface protects the PDVF anti-fouling layer from transport scratches.
5.2 Shelf life and storage — Store factory-sealed indoors at 5–30 °C, away from heat sources, open flames and direct sunlight. Store rolls horizontally; do not stack under heavy load, which can cause deformation and surface scratching. Shelf life 18 months. Avoid puncturing and friction scratching of the PDVF functional surface during transport.
6. Safety and Environment
6.1 A separate Safety Data Sheet compliant with ISO 11014 / GHS is supplied, meeting European and North American export audit requirements. GHS classification: this solid finished fabric is not a dangerous chemical. Dust and fume generated during cutting and thermal processing require protection.
6.2 Protection and waste — Wear safety goggles, a dust mask and solvent-resistant protective gloves during cutting and welding. Keep the workshop ventilated. Cutting offcuts must be disposed of in accordance with local regulations and must not be discarded at will.
6.3 Compliance — REACH SVHC, RoHS 2.0 and low-VOC system compliant. Contains no heavy-metal pigments.

The thickened 5 mm three-layer structure delivers markedly better rebound cushioning and softer underfoot feel than SLEME201 (1.5–3 mm). The material is water-resistant throughout, permeable and breathable, highly cushioning, mould-inhibiting and weather resistant — solving the common failures of conventional tile slip, stone water pooling, plastic lifting and mould, and paint peeling and scuffing. |
| Suitable substrates | Concrete, metal, FRP, painted coatings and other sound, stable structural surfaces |
| Typical applications | Large water parks, public standard pool decks, children's splash pools, family interactive water play areas, hot spring water-contact walkways, water-contact landscape platforms, outdoor water-contact leisure paving, immersive water play venues — public water-contact areas subject to long-term immersion, alternating wet and dry conditions and high-frequency foot traffic, where comfort and fall-impact protection requirements are higher |
2. Key Features
2.1 Leading wet slip resistance, meeting European and North American pool safety grades — A dedicated micro-textured anti-slip surface delivers stable dry and wet friction coefficients, certified to DIN 51130 R10 and EN 16165 water-contact slip resistance. No slipping under standing water, suitable for barefoot use by adults and children, eliminating water-contact slip and abrasion hazards.
2.2 Three-layer composite, thickened high-rebound structure for superior cushioning and comfort — A wear-resistant rubber-plastic top layer, an independent foamed cushion interlayer and a non-woven base form a three-layer system in a thickened 5 mm build. 2.3 SLEME203 Water-Contact Safety Impact-Absorbing Anti-slip Elastic Tile
Product Overview
SLEME203 is a high-impact-absorption safety tile for water-contact areas, built on a thickened high-rebound cushion structure with a multi-layer stress-relief formulation over a modified rubber-resin surface and reinforced non-woven base. It addresses the two most serious water play risks at once — skin abrasion and severe impact injury. It is the impact-protection upgrade of the SLEME201 series, intended for child-focused, high-risk water play environments.
This technical data sheet is compiled to the highest European and North American safety regimes for public water parks and children's water play sites, referencing EN 1177, ASTM F1292 (fall impact attenuation), DIN 51130, EN 16165, EN 13845, ISO 14801, EU REACH, RoHS 2.0 and ISO 11014.
1. Product Identification
| Product name | SLEME203 Water-Contact Safety Impact-Absorbing Anti-slip Elastic Tile |
| Product type | High-impact absorption non-slip safety tile: modified rubber-resin blend with high-strength polyester non-woven reinforcement |
| Structure and upgrade principle | Building on the anti-abrasion and anti-slip performance of the 201/202 series, this product uses a thickened high-rebound cushion structure and a multi-layer stress-relief formulation. The modified rubber-resin top surface is fine-textured, anti-slip and skin-friendly, preventing skin abrasion and grazing. The high-rebound mid-layer provides strong impact absorption. The non-woven base stabilises deformation and prevents collapse. It targets high-risk scenarios such as running and slipping, airborne falls, falls from height and limb impact, substantially reducing the risk of severe incidents including bruising, fractures and head impact. |
| Recommended substrates | Concrete, metal, FRP, painted coatings and other sound, stable structural surfaces |
| Typical applications | Slide splash-down zones in large water parks, children's splash pools, family interactive water play areas, fountain splash zones, high-risk activity areas at poolside, around water ride equipment, kindergarten water-contact areas, outdoor water play sports grounds — water-contact areas with frequent running by children, high fall likelihood and fall-height risk |
2. Key Features (upgrades over 201/202)
2.1 Dual safety protection: anti-abrasion plus severe-impact protection — The fine micro-textured top surface is skin-friendly and non-abrasive, preventing grazing and cuts from running and slipping. The internal high-rebound cushion layer efficiently absorbs fall impact energy, closing the industry gap where conventional anti-slip materials prevent slipping but not impact injury.
2.2 Leading European and North American fall impact absorption — Fully compliant with EN 1177 and ASTM F1292 playground fall safety standards. It effectively reduces the Head Injury Criterion (HIC) and peak G, significantly mitigating severe risks from falls such as fractures, concussion and major limb injury, achieving the highest safety level for children's play areas.
2.3 High water resistance and breathability without hollowing — The rubber-resin blend is hydrophobic and non-absorbent throughout, and the breathable structure releases substrate moisture. It will not blister, delaminate or hollow under long-term alternating wet and dry conditions and pool water immersion, suitable for year-round outdoor water-contact service.
2.4 Non-woven composite reinforcement against deformation — The high-strength polyester non-woven skeleton in the base means the thickened structure does not collapse or deform. Dimensions remain stable under long-term high-frequency traffic and impact loading, eliminating the sagging, depression and rebound failure that soft materials suffer over time.
2.5 Mould and algae inhibition in high humidity, easy to clean — The dense modified resin structure does not retain dirt or water stains. It provides long-term inhibition of mould and algae in humid chlorinated pool environments, with no blackening or odour. Routine cleaning with water is sufficient.
2.6 Weather and ageing resistance, pool chemical corrosion resistance — A dedicated modified rubber-resin weather-resistant formulation resists UV exposure, thermal cycling and pool chlorine disinfectant immersion. No chalking, discolouration or embrittlement over long-term use; weathering performance suits year-round outdoor conditions.
2.7 Child-safe environmental compliance — Free of heavy metals and volatile harmful substances, compliant with EU REACH, RoHS 2.0 and children's water-contact product standards. Skin-friendly and non-toxic, suitable for direct barefoot and body contact.
3. Technical Data (EN / ASTM)
All values are tested on the finished composite tile as a whole, in line with third-party testing standards for European and North American public water-contact facilities. 4. Application Instructions (for children's impact-protection areas)
4.1 Substrate preparation — The substrate must be sound, flat, dry and free of sanding, hollowing, oil, moss and loose inclusions. New concrete substrates must be fully cured and meet strength ≥ 25 MPa and moisture content ≤ 8 %. For older sites, thoroughly grind off the aged layer and contamination, repair holes and cracks, and ensure the substrate is flat and solid with no sharp protrusions — otherwise later deformation will compromise impact cushioning.
4.2 Application conditions — Ambient temperature 5–40 °C, relative humidity ≤ 85 %. Substrate temperature must be at least 3 °C above dew point; do not install under condensation. Do not install in rain, strong wind, direct intense sun or frost, to ensure bonding stability and overall impact-protection flatness.
4.3 Laying procedure
4.3.1 Use OICE-904, a water-resistant elastic adhesive dedicated to water-contact areas. Apply a full, even coat to both the substrate and the back of each tile with no misses or dry bonding.
4.3.2 Lay precisely to the setting-out plan with even, straight joints and an overall level finish. Tamp with a dedicated rubber mallet and roll fully to expel air, avoiding local hollows.
4.3.3 Joints use clip-together butt fixing. Edges, equipment plinths and drains are filled and sealed with dedicated anti-mould water-resistant sealant to prevent water ingress, dirt accumulation and bacterial growth.
4.3.4 In high-risk fall zones and areas of dense child activity, ensure full tile coverage with no gaps or loose tiles so that impact protection is consistent throughout.
4.4 Curing
4.4.1 After installation, leave to cure for 7 days. Once fully cured, optimum bond strength, impact cushioning and water-resistant slip resistance are reached. No foot traffic, standing water or heavy impact during curing; the area may only be handed over for children's use after curing is complete.
4.4.2 Recommended system — Substrate grinding and repair → OICE-901 moisture-proof sealing primer → trowel-apply OICE-904 dedicated adhesive → lay SLEME203 impact-absorbing anti-slip elastic tiles → anti-mould sealing at details → overall cleaning and curing.
5. Packaging and Storage
5.1 Packaging — Each tile is individually film-wrapped and packed in compartmented rigid cartons to prevent impact, scratching and deformation. Each carton includes a certificate and batch test documentation.
5.2 Storage — Store indoors in a cool, dry place at 5–30 °C, away from heat sources, open flames and oil. Stack flat; do not load heavily on one side or bend, to protect the surface anti-slip texture and the internal high-rebound cushion structure. Factory-sealed shelf life 12 months.
5.3 Transport — This is an environmentally sound solid product, not a hazardous chemical. Protect from rain, moisture, compression and severe impact throughout transport, and avoid sun exposure and freezing damage, so the impact-protection structure remains intact.
6. Safety and Environment
6.1 A Safety Data Sheet compliant with ISO 11014 / GHS is supplied, fully meeting export audit requirements for European and North American water parks and children's water-contact sites.
6.2 Use safety — The surface is skin-friendly and abrasion resistant, and the tile as a whole is highly elastic and impact absorbing. There are no hard edges or sharp particles. Suitable for prolonged barefoot and body contact by infants and children.
6.3 Installation safety — The finished solid tile contains no volatile harmful substances. Cutting only requires ventilation and standard protection, with no high-risk exposure.
6.4 Environmental compliance — Free of heavy metals and SVHC substances, compliant with EU REACH, RoHS 2.0 and children's product safety standards. Environmentally sound, non-toxic and water-contact safe.
6.5 Waste disposal — Construction offcuts must be disposed of in accordance with local environmental regulations. Do not discard at will or pollute water bodies.

3.1 SLETU-101 True Ceramic Underwater Coating
Product Overview
SLETU-101 is a two-component true ceramic underwater coating formed from inorganic ceramic powder, a waterborne hybrid polysiloxane resin and functional additives, cross-linked with a polyisocyanate curing agent. The cured film is a continuous, dense inorganic-organic hybrid ceramic-like coating that can be applied and cured underwater, combining the high media resistance of inorganic ceramics with the flexible anchoring performance of polysiloxane resin.
This technical data sheet is compiled for European and North American water park, pool and aquarium water-contact coating regimes, referencing ASTM coating standards, EN 1504-2, ISO 14801, EU REACH, RoHS 2.0 and the ISO 11014 safety data sheet framework. It is designed for substrates subject to long-term immersion, alternating wet and dry conditions and continuous chlorinated water exposure.
1. Product Identification
| Product name | SLETU-101 True Ceramic Underwater Coating |
| Product type | Two-component underwater protective and decorative coating: a composite system of inorganic ceramic powder, waterborne hybrid polysiloxane resin and functional additives, cross-linked with a polyisocyanate curing agent |
| Structural principle | The system combines inorganic ceramic powder with a waterborne hybrid polysiloxane resin and functional additives, cross-linking into a film through the polyisocyanate curing agent. The cured film forms a continuous, dense inorganic-organic hybrid ceramic-like coating that can be applied and cured while wet or underwater. It fuses the high media resistance of inorganic ceramics with the excellent flexibility and anchoring performance of polysiloxane resin, giving a dense continuous structure with resistance to chlorinated water and seawater salt attack and strong adhesion, integrating decorative colour with substrate protection. It addresses the common failures of conventional epoxy and polyurea underwater coatings: yellowing under prolonged immersion, organic leaching, weathering degradation, ageing in hot water environments and interfacial debonding from the substrate. |
| Suitable substrates | Concrete, metal structures, FRP, existing tile surfaces, cementitious bases and some metal substrates. The substrate must be structurally sound with no loose sanding; oil, moss and loose deposits must be fully removed. |
| Typical applications | Water park pool bodies, slide finishes, public pool walls and floors, children's splash pools, aquarium display tanks, large landscape water features, hot spring pools — water-contact projects requiring underwater coating renovation, waterproofing and anti-corrosion protection together with coloured decoration, in long-term immersion and chlorinated or seawater environments |
2. Key Features
2.1 Applies and cures on damp substrates — The inorganic ceramic, waterborne hybrid polysiloxane and polyisocyanate cross-linking system can be applied to damp substrates, even under still water, without requiring a fully dry surface. This suits pool work, shortens the programme and maintains quality.
2.2 Inorganic hybrid matrix, resistant to long-term chlorinated water and seawater — A polysiloxane backbone with inert inorganic ceramic fillers gives high chemical inertness. The coating withstands prolonged immersion in chlorinated pool disinfectant and high-salinity marine environments without blistering, delamination or chalking, with excellent chloride ion penetration resistance.
2.3 Ceramic-like dense film, high hardness and abrasion resistance — The cured film forms a dense ceramic-like inorganic hybrid structure that resists abrasion and water-flow scouring. It is not easily worn by long-term water impact or barefoot rubbing, and colour remains stable over time.
2.4 Excellent yellowing and weathering resistance — The body is based on inorganic fillers and a polysiloxane skeleton with no yellowing-prone organic resin segments. Under long-term underwater and outdoor use, yellowing and fading are minimal and colour remains stable, suitable for coloured landscape finishes.
2.5 High adhesion, universal across substrates — The waterborne hybrid polysiloxane and polyisocyanate cross-linking system achieves chemical bonding and anchoring to concrete, cement mortar, existing tile, FRP and other water-contact substrates, with high adhesion on both dry and damp surfaces.
2.6 Low VOC and water-contact safety compliance — A waterborne carrier system with extremely low organic leaching after full cure, meeting material standards for water-contact works and the water safety requirements of water parks and aquariums. Compliant with EU REACH and RoHS 2.0.
2.7 Wide colour range, strong decorative effect — Multiple matt and semi-gloss water-contact colours can be specified. Colour is uniform and the finish attractive, integrating protection with landscape decoration.
2.8 Mould and algae resistance, easy to clean — The dense, low-surface-energy inorganic hybrid film resists soiling and inhibits mould and algae attachment in humid water environments. Maintenance cleaning is simple, reducing long-term pool and aquarium upkeep costs.
3. Technical Data (ASTM / EN)
All values are tested on the fully cured film as a whole, in line with third-party testing standards for European and North American public water-contact facilities. 3.4 SLETU-903 Elastic Tile Adhesive (Epoxy Type)
Product Overview
SLETU-903 is a two-component elastic epoxy adhesive: a modified epoxy resin base cured with a polyamide curing agent and blended with elastic modification components. Once cured it combines the high bond strength of epoxy with elastic deformation capacity, absorbing minor substrate movement, relieving stress from temperature and wet-dry cycling and reducing the risk of debonding of elastic tiles and sheets. The adhesive layer resists water and pool chlorinated water attack and can be applied to damp substrates free of standing water.
It is used to bond SLEME elastic sheets and tiles firmly to pre-treated cementitious substrates and, together with SLETU-902 epoxy repair mortar and SLETU-901 high penetration epoxy primer, forms a complete water-contact paving system. It addresses the common failures of other adhesives: brittleness, softening under immersion and delamination or cracking under wet-dry cycling.
1. Product Identification
| Product name | SLETU-903 Elastic Tile Adhesive (Epoxy Type) |
| Product type | Two-component elastic epoxy adhesive: modified epoxy resin base cured with polyamide curing agent and blended with elastic modification components |
| Structural principle | A modified epoxy and polyamide curing system with added elastic modification components. Once cured it combines the high bond strength of epoxy with elastic deformation capacity, absorbing minor substrate movement and relieving stress from temperature and wet-dry cycling to reduce the risk of debonding of elastic tiles and sheets. The adhesive layer resists water and pool chlorinated water attack and can be applied to damp substrates free of standing water. It bonds SLEME elastic sheets and tiles firmly to pre-treated cementitious substrates and, together with SLETU-902 epoxy repair mortar and SLETU-901 high penetration epoxy primer, forms a complete water-contact paving system, addressing the failures of other adhesives such as brittleness, softening under immersion and delamination or cracking under wet-dry cycling. |
| Suitable substrates | Concrete and cement mortar substrates after SLETU-901 primer treatment; sound FRP and hard inorganic substrates (these must be ground and consolidated first). |
| Typical applications | Water park pool decks, slide platforms, areas around public pools, children's splash pools, aquarium water-contact platforms, hot spring walkways, landscape water-contact platforms — used for bonding SLEME201 / SLEME202 / SLEME203 elastic anti-slip sheets and tiles as part of the complete SLEME water-contact paving system |
2. Key Features
2.1 Modified epoxy elastic system, high bond strength with deformation capacity — The epoxy base ensures high bond strength while the elastic modification components give the adhesive layer a degree of ductility, accommodating minor expansion and contraction of the substrate and reducing the risk of debonding and edge lifting.
2.2 Applicable to damp substrates free of standing water — The polyamide-cured epoxy system suits the damp substrate conditions typical of water-contact projects, with no need to wait for the substrate to dry completely.
2.3 Water and chlorine resistant, stable under long-term immersion — The cured adhesive layer withstands pool chlorinated disinfectant and alternating wet and dry conditions without softening, swelling or degrading under long-term immersion.
2.4 Excellent compatibility with SLEME elastic sheets and tiles — Does not attack elastic paving materials. The adhesive layer keys tightly to the back of the sheet, compatible with the complete SLEME water-contact system.
2.5 Low shrinkage, reducing hollowing and edge lifting — Low cure shrinkage means thin-bed application generates little internal stress, reducing the risk of sheet corners lifting.
2.6 High thixotropy, slip resistant — The thixotropic formulation resists sagging on vertical faces and slopes, so tiles and sheets do not slide or shift after placement.
2.7 Environmentally safe and water-contact compliant — Low leaching after cure, meeting material safety requirements for water-contact structures; compliant with EU REACH and RoHS 2.0.
2.8 System compatibility — Together with SLETU-902 repair mortar, SLETU-901 primer and SLEME elastic sheets it forms an integrated water-contact paving system.
3. Technical Data (ASTM / EN)
All values are tested on the fully cured adhesive layer as a whole, in line with third-party testing standards for European and North American public water-contact facilities. Bond strength, immersion resistance, slip resistance and environmental indices meet overseas pool and aquarium admission requirements.

| Recommended application thickness | 2–4 mm | EN 12004 |
| Tensile bond strength (7 d, concrete substrate) | ≥ 2.0 MPa | ASTM D4541 |
| Environmental compliance | REACH SVHC and RoHS 2.0 compliant; free of lead, cadmium, chromium and mercury; low leaching after cure | EU REACH / RoHS |
4. Application Instructions (for water-contact elastic paving)
4.1 Substrate preparation — The substrate must be sound and firm. First level potholes and defects with SLETU-902 repair mortar, then apply SLETU-901 high penetration epoxy primer. Remove loose sand, oil, moss and loose inclusions. A damp substrate is acceptable but standing or pooled water is strictly prohibited.
4.2 Application conditions — Ambient temperature 10–35 °C; substrate temperature at least 3 °C above dew point; relative humidity ≤ 85 %. Do not apply in rainstorms or frost.
4.3 Bonding procedure
4.3.1 Mix Part A modified epoxy elastic resin and Part B polyamide curing agent at the specified ratio and stir thoroughly. The material must be used within the pot life; mixed material beyond that time must not be used.
4.3.2 Spread the adhesive evenly onto the pre-treated substrate using a notched trowel, keeping the adhesive layer thickness uniform.
4.3.3 Lay the SLEME elastic sheet or tile and roll thoroughly with a rubber pressure roller to expel air from the adhesive layer, ensuring full bonding with no hollows. Clean any adhesive squeezed out at the sheet edges promptly.
4.3.4 At internal and external corners, ramps, drains and equipment plinths, ensure the adhesive layer is continuous and complete.
4.3.5 Curing: light loading permitted after 24 h at ambient temperature; final bond strength and water resistance after a full 7-day cure. No water immersion, foot traffic or water scouring during curing.
4.3.6 Recommended system — Substrate grinding and cleaning → SLETU-902 epoxy mortar repair and levelling → SLETU-901 high penetration epoxy primer → SLETU-903 elastic tile adhesive trowel application → SLEME elastic sheet or tile installation → static curing.
